1.2 Automatically Collected Information

• Device type, operating system, and app version
• Usage data (features used, interactions, and timestamps)
• Approximate location may be inferred by our infrastructure providers from IP address for security, fraud prevention, and service reliability

1.3 AI-Related Data (OpenAI)

When you use Sourcy AI, the text you enter is transmitted to OpenAI to generate a response. We do not automatically send your stored suppliers, products, orders, photos, or other account data to OpenAI unless you choose to include that information in the message you submit.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the Sourcy service
• Store and manage your suppliers, products, orders, shipments, and sales
• Generate AI-powered responses when you use Sourcy AI
• Improve app performance, reliability, and features
• Communicate with you about updates, support, or important notices
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data.

3. AI & Automated Processing (OpenAI)

• Sourcy AI is powered by OpenAI.
• AI outputs are generated automatically based on the text you submit.
• AI responses are provided for assistance only and should be reviewed before relying on them for business decisions.
• You will be asked for permission in-app before Sourcy sends your text to OpenAI for AI processing.

4. Data Storage & Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including secure storage and access controls, encryption where appropriate, and restricted internal access to user data. No system is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, as necessary to provide the service, and as required by law or legitimate business purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).

AI prompts are processed to provide AI responses. We do not sell AI prompts or use them for advertising.

6. Sharing of Information

We may share information only with:

• OpenAI (processing of user-entered AI prompts to generate responses)
• Google Firebase (authentication, database, file storage, and crash/analytics services used to operate the app)
• Other trusted service providers (hosting and monitoring) that help us operate and improve the service
• Legal or regulatory authorities if required by law
• A successor entity in the event of a merger or acquisition

We do not share your data for advertising or resale.

7. International Users

Sourcy is operated internationally. Your information may be processed or stored in countries outside your own. By using the service, you consent to this transfer where permitted by law.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
